For a small monthly service fee ($19.95), our iValidate.Net credit card payment gateway service connects your Instant HotSpot® (and other Public Internet Access devices) with your credit card processor!

iValidate.Net offers your customers the convenience and security of accessing your Instant HotSpot service by simply logging in with a credit card. Now you can focus on your core business while your Instant HotSpot provides Wi-Fi Internet service automatically. And at the end of the day you can simply access and upload all your credit card transactions as you would with your P.O.S. (point of sale) system.

Here is how iValidate.net works for your customers:

  1. A user opens their browser using your Instant HotSpot® and presents a credit card to get service. 
  2. The user selects how much time they want to purchase.
  3. They enter their credit card information and your Instant HotSpot® sends the payment information to the iValidate.Net payment gateway, which relays it to your credit card processor for authorization. 
  4. iValidate.Net then enables your Instant HotSpot to generate a secure log-in and ID for your customer. Payment is deposited directly into your business checking account by the processor.

  • An Instant HotSpot® Access Control Unit
  • A merchant account with one of our preferred processors 1st National, NOVA, Moneris.
    (Setup is faster and easier if you use one of our preferred processors since they are most familiar with our procedures.
    )

  • We will need to know the Bank Bin ID & 12 or 16-digit Terminal ID (sometimes called Merchant or V-number) from the "cut-sheet" that the merchant will fax you to initiate service. If you go with Moneris or 1st National, we will need a few more things, too. These are indicated on the iValidate.Net Gateway order form.

iValidate.Net is not a financial institution. iValidate.Net is only a secure payment gateway that provides a secure communications link between your public Internet access terminal (i.e., Instant HotSpot and kiosks) and your merchant account processor. All monies, transaction fees and deposits/credits to your business checking account are strictly between your business and your merchant service provider. Shopping for a Merchant Processor

We give you options, so shop and get your best price. Any fees negotiated with them will be in addition to our flat monthly fee ($19.95), and billed separately by your merchant processor. (be sure to shop between the different companies to get the best rate possible.)

Instant HotSpot® Wi-Fi controller Setup Information

Once you have your merchant account, setup for your Instant HotSpot® is easy. Simply, open the web-based interface on the Instant HotSpot® (see Quick Start Guide), click on [Advanced Setup] and then click on [Credit Card] (in the left margin).

The resultant Wi-Fi controller setup should look similar to the screen shot on the right.

Upon completion of your service order, we will email you specific instructions and values to plug into these blanks. Setup on our end, usually takes less than 2 business days.

That's all there is to it! You'll be accepting credit cards at your Instant HotSpot® in no time.
